Project goal, under certain limit of time

Project
is a unique Endeavour which has specific Starting and agreed upon deliverable
ending. Project management is a unique process with effective time, cost and
performance for any task.  It is management
and art of defining a goal, under certain limit of time with planning’s to
perform the task. Project management is the best way of organizing and
monitoring any progress and completion of any kind of work within time and
resources.

The
main and foremost challenge of any kind of the project is the achievement of
all the project goals with constraints. To deal with this the project
management have many methods to efficiently perform and collaborate any task
and one of the most used and successful method is the following of the project
life cycle. It works with a frame for managing any task so that the system can
meet the final product. Every project is divided into 3 steps of initial phase,
intermediate phase and the final or closing of the project. This is the most
generic and most used phases of any project.

These phases don’t find the solution of most
large project with detailed an more complex level of requirements, So for the
successful completion of projects like this there is four certain phases as defining
, planning, Executing or implementation and the final delivering or closure
phase. Together all these phases make the path for the for the project
completion taken as “Project life cycle”.

1) Defining
Phase:

This is the initial and the most
important phase of any project where we give the identification of goals with
the specification of the project with all its requirements. After this
gathering of all the information about the project we create a documentation
form. Then we use this document for creating the feasibility study of the
project whether to know if we could meet the goal within all the constraints of
time, cost and scope of the project and final documentation is create to get
all the issues and solutions are determined. Once these all the done then the
tasks are created with respect to all the teams and so the responsibilities can
be distributed among them.

2) Planning
Phase:

This is the phase on which
characterize as the backbone of any project lifecycle. Because any negligence
in this phase may result in the complete failure of the project. In this phase
the user we further plans on the risk and more advance requirements of the
project. After doing all the risk and feasibility study of the system we
develop a schedule of achieving of all the system in most suitable fashion for
the project to reduce the chances of the problems occurring for reducing the
result of the steps in the project. This is also time to inform the all
stakeholder about the communication plan for achieving their task and let them
know the time taken by the system for the most effective completion of the
project.

After
all the discussions and planning with the stakeholders we generate the
documentation in detail and then we define the tasks and responsibilities of
the teams with further details and more dependencies about time and cost
estimation of every team and manage this around the system phases.

3) Execution
or implementation Phase:

In this phase the project is put into
work by following the devised plan. This phase is important in the aspects of
maintaining and implementation of the system into its respective iterations. In
this phase the tasks are performed with under the supervision of the manager.
In most projects it’s the phase where most of the time is spent to so that the
system is executed completely in all its aspects and strict monitoring of the
system with respect to time, cost and reliability is maintained. The system’s deviation
from the path is also controlled so that the system accomplishment may
obtained.

          Manager also maintains the status
reports of every team and could work on maximum from each team without any
comprise on the quality. This phase also maintains any change in the plan so
manager could maintain and coordinate the project with remaining time. Once the
project pass from all the quality measures and also satisfying requirements of the
project with under cost and time maintenance. At this point project is ready
for the final phase of the closure.

 4) Delivery Phase:

Once the project has passed all the
deliverables under the implementation phase it moves towards the closure or
delivery phase. At this point the main steps are toward the finalizing and
giving final testing and validations to the project so that they can pass
through the clients eye of checking. At the end when it passes through all the
validations we start generating the final report of the project with all its
phases report and their success rate under the given agreed time. This document
also helps the project organization for future experience. Then at last with terminating
the project  with supplier and provide
whole final report to the system to let he stakeholder about the whole working
of the project in all its respects.

Depending
on all above discussion we can display all these phases under such a display
with respect to time of project as above.

Importance
of Project Life Cycle:

                   Project life cycle finds its
large use in most successful and technical organizations where they follow it
for the completion of their deliverables its all because of its many features
some are elaborated as below.

·
Provision of
easy and sequential way of completing projects.

·
Cost and time
effective management.

·
High level of
maintenance and supervision for the completion of all phases.

·
Fast tracking
of life cycle with overlapping phases.

·
Provide great
communication and interest of stakeholder to influence on project advancement
and scope.

·
Progressive and
iterative nature of development.

·
Highly
documented and structured procedure of thriving project.

·
Great deal of
validation and testing for checking all the requirements of the project.

·
Provision of
reasoning and preservation of resources in well formed documents at the closure
for future experience (knowledge).

These are the some of the most basic important characteristic of
Project lifecycle. On the basis this we can infer that project life cycle finds
many uses in different aspects of real life because of its efficiency and
successful completion of any project.
