The Ski Bluebird Team

The Ski Bluebird Story

Marcus Sam and Jimmy met in Courchevel the Winter of 2006/07. Between then and 2012, adventures where had, university degrees gained, lots of cheffing and many winter seasons were completed. Ski Bluebird set up in the summer of 2012 and opened its doors for business in December 2012 just in time for an amazing winter season. After the 2016 winter, Jimmy left Ski Bluebird to pursue his London catering company further. Marcus and Sam are looking forward to having Jimmy come out and stay with Ski Bluebird on holiday! This is just the start of the story, we would love for all of you to be involved in the next chapters.

Sam MacKenzie

Sam manages the day to day operation of Ski Bluebird in Courchevel. When he’s not in the kitchen cooking up a storm, you will find him popping champers, pouring drinks and generally being on hand to ensure you have a fantastic holiday. Whether you need to book a restaurant, advice on where to ski or picking up from an apres bar, Sam will always be there to help. Sam lives in Courchevel year round. When he's not exploring the mountains by bike or on foot you will find him busy renovating an ancient cow-barn. He has put into practice the knowledge used experience he gained working as sustainable-building consultant in London, building an eco-friendly barn-conversion. Complete with a small flock of chickens and a vegetable patch.
